4A state track and field: Pine View surges into contention on opening day
PROVO — One of the final races of the first day of the 4A state track and field meet helped propel Pine View atop the team leaderboard. The Panthers' 4x800-meter relay of Porter Calico, Kyle Rimmasch, Carter Rimmasch and Bridger Jaggi finished the penultimate race of the meet in 7 minutes, 56.96 seconds to help put Pine View in position for its first state title since 2012 with 41 points Friday at BYU's Robison Track and Field Complex.

SPRINGVILLE, Utah (KUTV) — New developments in a continuing 2News Investigation after a dogged fight with Springville Police for body camera video they initially outright and wrongfully denied but then produced. The footage is from the body camera of Officer Kati Powell who was fired from the Springville Police Department on December 1, 2023. The video raises serious questions about police misconduct after a superior officer withheld information from Powell who was conducting a traffic stop that turned into a DUI investigation. What’s more, our investigation found that the police department also withheld that same evidence that could have exonerated the young man she arrested, and the potential misconduct carried over to the courtroom begging the question: was a young man wrongfully prosecuted.

She and her college friend Kari Bushman dreamed of a day when they could organize a convention just for adults with autism.
