Missing Dartmouth grad student found dead in Connecticut River
LEBANON, Vt. (WCAX) - Police in Lebanon say a missing Dartmouth graduate student was found dead in the Connecticut River on Monday. Authorities say Kexin Cai, 26, had been missing since May 15 and was last seen riding an e-bike at around 6 p.m. headed toward West Lebanon that day.

Driver cited for doing 111 mph on Interstate 91 in Hartland
HARTLAND — A man from Avon, Indiana, was cited for excessive speed early this morning after Vermont State Police clocked his vehicle traveling at 111 mph on Interstate 91. During a speed enforcement operation around 1:26 a.m., state troopers detected a vehicle significantly exceeding the 65 mph speed limit.

Juvenile detained after disturbances in Strafford area
STRAFFORD — Early morning disturbances on May 18 led to the temporary escape and subsequent detention of a juvenile involved in various incidents in the Strafford area. Vermont State Police Troopers from the Royalton Barracks responded at about 4:53 a.m. to reports of an individual searching through unlocked vehicles near Coburns’ General Store.
Bradford man arrested on domestic assault, unlawful restraint charges
BRADFORD — A local man was arrested Thursday on accusations of first-degree aggravated domestic assault and unlawful restraint, according to Vermont State Police. Troopers responded to a reported domestic disturbance at a Bradford residence at 11:49 a.m. where they discovered that 22-year-old Andre Town allegedly assaulted a 26-year-old household member, inflicting pain.
