Minnesotans will soon be able to order a weekday glass of wine at Lake Nokomis, take a boozy drink "to go" in two more suburbs, and chase a craft beer with a THC-infused seltzer at a local brewery.The big picture: In the frenzied final days of the legislative session, state lawmakers made a number of tweaks to let the taps flow for Minnesotans who enjoy an adult beverage.Reality check: These changes did not address the most contentious aspects of Minnesota's restrictive alcohol laws, such as the ban on beer and wine sales at grocery stores.Here are some new drinking rules...
Walmart is Taking Delivery One Step Further in Minnesota

The last handful of times I’ve visited Minneapolis have been surprisingly pleasant. I stumbled across a couple sweet used bookstores in addition to my usual haunts which never fail to extract money from my wallet, the Twins were playing a home game during one of my visits and the game was being shown on a gigantic big screen in a comfortably populated public space outside the stadium, all the shows I was in town for were sold out, old dudes would comment with friendly nostalgia about the Cows shirt I was wearing and, most shockingly, one of the visits happened to be in December and it was warm enough that jackets weren’t required. And each time I got to hang with soundman extraordinaire, Anthony Columbus.
Hackenmueller’s Meat Market for sale
Meatloaf, steak tails, pot pies, hamburgers and more line the freezers at Hackenmuellers Meat Market in Robbinsdale. Jerky and sausages can be found smoking in the back while customers can find a deli full of salads, chips, pickles and ice cream up front. At over 130 years old, Hackenmueller’s Meat Market is the oldest continuing business in Robbinsdale. Gordy Lindenfelser, who lives in St. Michael and bought the business in 1979, has put it up for sale. ...
