Man shot and killed at Kent bar; suspect arrested
KENT, Wash. — A man was shot and killed at a bar in Kent on Thursday after reportedly fighting with the suspect. Kent Police Department officers were dispatched to reports of a physical fight in the parking lot of a bar in the 1700 block of West Meeker Street at 10:46 p.m.
Pierce County woman charged with killing boyfriend with pellet gun believed he was cheating
A woman accused of fatally shooting her 51-year-old boyfriend with a pellet gun in Graham on Wednesday believed he was cheating on her. Nicole Lynn Johnson, 49, was charged Friday with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and fourth-degree assault, court records show. A plea of not guilty was entered on her behalf and her bail was set at $750,000.

A fugitive facing drug and gun charges was nabbed Tuesday after ducking out on his court appearance, according to Pierce County Sheriff's blotter. The 33-year-old man, pegged a high-priority offender by the Prosecutor’s Office, was spotted by a deputy of the FBI’s South Sound Gang Task Force sauntering out of a gas station on Golden Given Rd E in the Midland area.
