A Cleveland, Tennessee, man has been arrested and accused of entering the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Alpharetta woman missing since August found dead in Tennessee, Cobb County police say
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The remains of a woman who was reported missing in August have been found in Tennessee, according to Cobb County police. Maury-Ange Faith Martinez, 20, was first reported missing Aug. 28, 2023. Gwinnett County police said she had been last seen leaving the county jail, but Cobb County police said “further investigation” revealed that her last known location was near Powers Ferry Road in unincorporated Cobb County.
Arrest Made In Highway 58 Shooting Of Juvenile
The Chattanooga Police Department has arrested 27-year-old Lyndell Dunnigan in relation to the shooting that occurred on May 24 in the 4600 block of Highway 58. At 11:30 p.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to a person shot call. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a juvenile male victim with a gunshot wound.
Woman Arrested On Multiple Charges After Pursuit
A woman was arrested on multiple charges after leading authorities on pursuit. On Monday, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deputies attempted to stop a Nissan Sentra on Standifer Gap Road. The deputy involved positively identified the driver as Kaitlyn Ezell of Chattanooga and knew she was driving on a revoked license for a prior DUI conviction. The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle; however, the driver refused to stop and fled, with our deputy in pursuit. Within a few minutes, this first pursuit was terminated, as it traveled into a construction zone with construction workers present.
