    SOMERVILLE, NJ - The PSE&G gas pipe replacement project that began in March, 2023 continues this week with construction crews connecting services at several locations, requiring detours and street closures.

    All work is weather permitting.

    Reimer Street

    Monday, April 29 to Wednesday, May 1, crews will be connecting services between N. Gaston Avenue and Eastern Avenue. Work hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Traffic control will include lane shifts and flagging (one lane of travel);

    N. Gaston Avenue

    Thursday, May 2 and Friday, May 3. Crews will be connecting services between Union Avenue and E. Cliff Street. Work hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Traffic control will include lane shifts and flagging (one lane of travel);

    Codington Place

    Dates to be determined. Work on this street is tentatively planned, based on early completion of work on N. Gaston Avenue. Crews will install a main between E. High Street and Main Street. Work hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This work will require a road closure.
