JACKSON COUNTY, MI - A sparse turnout on a stormy election day brought mixed results for some Jackson County school and public safety millage proposals. Voters approved two of the three items on the Tuesday, May 7, ballot in Jackson County. A renewal of Concord Community Schools’ sinking fund and the renewal of a police millage in Napoleon Township passed, while a $9.9-million bond extension in East Jackson Community Schools was rejected by voters.
