Marion County farmers eligible for biosolids program
FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WDTV) - Local farmers in Fairmont can now apply to the Biosolids Land Application program. The program, which is offered by the city of Fairmont Sanitary Sewer Board and the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, allows farmers to apply biosolids as fertilizer to improve soil nutrients and help plant growth. Residents who have flat meadows or pasture lands are encouraged to apply for the program, according to a release.
Clarksburg police searching for truck after hit-and-run incident
CLARKSBURG, W.Va (WDTV) - The Clarksburg Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a truck involved in a hit-and-run incident. In a Facebook post Friday morning, police said the driver of the red truck is wanted for questioning “in regard to striking an unattended vehicle and leaving the scene.”
