New Details Revealed For The Henry’s Move To Legacy West
Plano’s Legacy West is about to get a whole lot more neighborly. Seven years after making a massive splash in Uptown Dallas, Fox Restaurant Concepts officially announced it will bring its self-proclaimed "greatest neighborhood restaurant," The Henry, to the heart of Plano in late 2026. The Henry Plano will span roughly 12,976 square feet, featuring both indoor and outdoor dining, a full-service coffee bar, an open kitchen, a central bar and a private dining room. Designed to feel welcoming from the start, the space will showcase the brand’s signature mix of industrial and classic design, paired with the lively atmosphere and warm hospitality guests have come to expect. The All-Day Neighborhood Anchor What sets The Henry apart is its refusal to be put in a box. It’s a coffee shop, a brunch spot, a professional lunch destination and a sophisticated dinner house all rolled into one. Founder Sam Fox built the concept to mirror the rhythm of daily life, offering a space that feels as appropriate for a casual work meeting as it does for a significant anniversary. It was a popular event, with most of the Dumb Ox filled throughout the event. Though attendees were encouraged to bring a date, the lively atmosphere made it easy for students to make friends and socialize with everyone there.

Brunch Just Got Better In Plano: Inside Urban Egg
Mornings just got a little more indulgent. Urban Egg, the Colorado-born brunch concept known for its all-scratch kitchen, opened its newest location in December 2025 at Preston Towne Crossing, marking its second Texas outpost and 12th restaurant in the U.S. The vibe is bright and welcoming, the kind of place that feels equally suited for a slow weekend brunch or a weekday “treat yourself” breakfast. At its core, Urban Egg’s philosophy is simple: start with quality ingredients, make as much as possible in-house and build relationships with local suppliers whenever it can. During a recent visit, Local Profile sampled a cross-section of the menu. Comfort Classics, Turned Up A Notch Urban Egg’s menu reads like a greatest hits album of breakfast favorites, but each dish comes with a little extra personality. There’s the billion bourbon bacon, thick-cut and lacquered in a sweet, spiced glaze that lives up to its dramatic name. The chicken and waffle benedict layers crispy fried chicken, bacon jam and silky hollandaise over a Belgian sugar waffle, landing squarely between brunch comfort and over-the-top indulgence. The smoked salmon benedict felt bright and balanced, pairing cured wild Pacific salmon with dill-infused cream cheese, toasted capers and pickled onions.
