    Kids Ride Free program returns to Sioux City

    SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The 18th annual Kids Ride Free program is set to begin next month in Sioux City.

    According to city officials, during the months of June, July and August, children ages 5 to 18 can get unlimited free rides on any of the transit system’s fixed routes.

    Around 300 motorcycles to ride through Sergeant Bluff, South Sioux City

    Busses run Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturday, they run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

    Children or their parents must show the bus driver their Kids Ride Free Pass. Parents can sign up for those passes at these locations:

    • Martin Luther King, Jr. Transportation Center Dispatch Office (505 Nebraska Street)
    • Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center (550 Expo Center Drive)
    • The Wilbur Aalfs Library (529 Pierce Street)
    • Perry Creek Branch Library (2912 Hamilton Blvd. Suite 101)
    • Morningside Branch Library (4005 Morningside Avenue)
