First responders rescue fawn
Coudersport, Pa. — Emergency crews came to the rescue of a fawn stuck in a channel in the Allegheny River Saturday evening. Crews were called to the area of Eulalia Street just after 5:30 p.m. for reports of a fawn in the water and in distress. The Coudersport Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Association, along with the Coudersport Police Department arrived on scene and pulled the fawn from the water. The animal was evaluated and released back into the nearby woods, officials say. The Coudersport Police Department posted photos of the rescue:

The National Weather Service issued an updated dense fog advisory at 3:59 a.m. on Sunday in effect until 10 a.m. for Northern Clinton, Northern Centre, Southern Centre, Northern Lycoming, Southern Clinton and Southern Lycoming as well as Warren, McKean, Potter, Elk, Cameron, Clearfield, Tioga, Sullivan, Union, Snyder, Montour, Northumberland and Columbia counties.
Vehicle thefts reported at local hotel
Lamar, Pa. – Two travelers were robbed between May 17 and May 18 as they stayed overnight at the Lamar Hampton Inn Hotel on Hospitality Lane, Clinton County. A 47-year-old from Waynesburg, KY, and a 72-year-old from Mesa, AZ reported to police that their cars were broken into between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday. The actor(s) broke into a 2009 Dodge 1500 Ram Promaster and a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado and took luggage, food items, tools, and other valuables, according to the report. Police said the vehicles were locked at the time. PSP Lamar is asking anyone with information about the vehicle thefts at the hotel to call 570-726-6000.
