Shreveport Police Investigating Late-Night Carjacking
Shreveport Police were called to the scene of the Wendy's near the Pines Road Walmart at 11pm Wednesday (7/24/24) to reports of a carjacking. Upon arrival, SPD found the victim of the carjacking. The victim claims he was there to meet a woman he had been messaging on social media. According to the victim, when he arrived to meet the woman at Walmart, she complained of vehicle trouble.

Spencer guilty of girlfriend's murder
SHREVEPORT, La. - A man who shot his girlfriend seven times at their residence on Dallas Street was found guilty of second-degree murder Wednesday. Spencer shot and killed his girlfriend, Michelle Wells, on Aug. 23 at her home in the 3000 block of Dallas Street. Witnesses told police they saw Spencer leave the house after the shooting.
