    Motorcyclist killed in Will County collision with occupied school bus identified

    WILL COUNTY, Ill. — The Will County Coroner’s Office has identified the motorcyclist who died Wednesday following a collision with an occupied school bus in Troy Township.

    Jeffrey M. Santora, 50, of Shorewood was pronounced dead after a crash in the 24000 block of W. Shepley Road. According to deputies, just before 3:20 p.m., a school bus carrying fifteen kids was stopped on Shepley Road when a two-passenger motorcycle struck the back end of the bus.

    A female passenger with Santora suffered severe injuries but was alert when taken to a nearby hospital. As of Thursday, there is no update on her condition.

    No children on the bus were hurt.

    Will County Sheriff’s Police continue to investigate the crash.
