Wayne High punches tickets for state track meet
ALBION — Wayne High will have six individuals competing in next week’s state track meet after they qualified during Tuesday’s B-4 district meet in Albion. Elle Powicki was a district champion for the Blue Devil girls, winning the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 15.32. She was seeded fourth going into the finals but came through with the best time in the finals to punch her ticket to state.
