ARTery announces ‘Extraordinary Visions in Paper’
From complex to the sublime, the work of award-winning artist Chris Hobbs will be featured throughout May at the ARTery gallery in Milford. Hobbs started out making paper mazes in the 1990s back when the ARTery was first formed. Over the past 30 years, the range of his work has expanded to jewelry and three-dimensional graphic replicas of boardwalks, buildings, trains, motorcycles, exotic fish, as well as abstract op-art designs. His array of paper sculptures have earned him more than 30 awards in juried shows across the country.
