First Year of Lewis & Clark Water in Sioux Center
Sioux Center has received more than 177 million gallons of water from the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System (LCRWS) in the first year since it was connected in April 2023. “This is a game-changing water resource for Sioux Center,” said Utilities Manager Murray Hulstein. “We anticipated it 30 years ago when we committed to being a member of this water system, but we didn’t know how crucial this reliable source of high-quality water would be for us. We already rely on it today, and we will need it for Sioux Center to continue to grow.”
