Pen Argyl Man Charged with Assault of Woman
PEN ARGYL, PA – Kyle Pengilly-Rarick was recently taken into custody by the Slate Belt Regional Police Officers for allegedly assaulting a female. The incident happened on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at a residence in the 800 block of William Street. Pengilly-Rarick was reported to have caused physical injury to the female victim. Following the investigation, he was arrested on Friday, May 26, and now faces charges of simple assault and harassment. Funeral arrangements have been set for the former Newark police officer and his two children killed in a fiery car crash in Andover Township last week. Andrew Benavente, 36, of Newton, died in the wreck, as did his children, A.J., 13, and Madelyn, 5.
