Following rezoning, Brunswick amends land use plan to allow for mixed-use development
The rezoning of two parcels of land off U.S. 17 in Brunswick County could make way for a mixed-use development near Shallotte. A request to rezone the properties at 7611 and 7707 Ocean Highway West (U.S. 17) was approved by the Brunswick County Planning Board at its June 10 meeting. Together, the two parcels total around 138 acres.
