Go & Do: St. George celebrates 100th anniversary
Every October, the community gathers to celebrate the Greek Food Festival at St. George Greek Orthodox Church. What many may not realize in this celebration of food, music and dancing is that the downtown church has been serving Bakersfield for 100 years.

SNAP! — Jason Fabus Trio concert
Live On Stage, Inc. and the Bakersfield Community Concert Association presented popular jazz group the Jason Fabus Trio as part of their 2023-2024 concert season on April 14. The special performance was held at Harvey Auditorium at Bakersfield High School. The Jason Fabus Trio is a jazz group led by saxophonist Jason Fabus and is part of the jazz and swing dancing scene in Los Angeles.
Kidsfest to descend upon Stramler Park this May
