Storm knocks down trees in Springfield neighborhood
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - A strong storm knocked down trees in a north Springfield neighborhood on Monday morning. Large trees fell on vehicles near the John B. Hughes Apartment complex in the area of High Street and Columbia Avenue. Another large tree fell onto the roadway near Division Street near Missouri Avenue around 6:30 a.m. Springfield Public Works worked through the morning to remove the tree from the roadway.
