Full-scale emergency exercise at Sioux Gateway
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – Saturday morning Sioux Gateway Airport hosted a full-scale exercise testing Sioux City’s emergency management system. “This drill was seven months in the planning,” said Sioux Gateway airport manager Alvin Lorenzo. “We started this back in September. Every three years the airport is required to perform emergency operations to get all of our mutual aid responders to come out here in the event the airport has a disaster.”
