Eighth-grade student breaks New Mexico high school softball record
LAS VEGAS, N.M. — An eighth-grade softball player for the West Las Vegas High School Dons made history this season. Softball player Malie Satete had 20 home runs heading into a doubleheader at Robertson High School. She tied the state record set by then-Cibola High School senior Jalyn Montes in 2023.
