BELEN, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Department of Transportation closed State Road 309 over the Rio Grande in Belen due to a sinkhole. Traffic will be detoured to Highway 6 in Los Lunas, State Highway 346, or U.S. Highway 60. This could be an extended closure and will remain in effect until further notice.
