St. James residents eligible for food vouchers following last week's tornado
SAINT JAMES, La. — Certain areas in St. James Parish are eligible for food vouchers following a tornado that touched down last week in Romeville. The food vouchers will be available at the Department of Human Resource building in Lutcher. The vouchers will be distributed in person on Wednesday.
Nicholls wins second consecutive Southland Tournament Championship
HAMMOND, La. (WVUE) - In the championship game of the Southland Tournament, Nicholls faced McNeese and aimed to win the title for a second straight year. McNeese scored first when Cooper Hext hit a solo home run to left field, taking an early lead. Nicholls responded in the second inning. With two runners on base, Parker Coddou hit a three-run homer to left field, giving Nicholls the lead.
