Kids in Escanaba can earn treats for biking safely
ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) - Young bikers in Escanaba can get a free treat from McDonalds this summer if they follow a few safety rules. Officers at the Escanaba Public Safety Department said they hope to catch kids biking safety. The “Caught Being Safe” program is a statewide initiative by the Field Neurosciences Institute in Saginaw. The Institute partners with McDonalds to reward kids for using safe behavior. Youth can earn a McDonalds coupon for an ice-cream cone or apple slices.
