SAYREVILLE, NJ - Sayreville War Memorial baseball capped off back-to-back wins against division rival Perth Amboy at home on Tuesday, April 16, winning by a final score of 14-4. The Bombers won their first game against Perth Amboy on the road on Monday, April 15, by a score of 9-1.

Sophomore Logan Kaufman pitched five innings for Sayreville, earning six strikeouts with no walks and only allowing two runs.

Eight different batters for Sayreville made up the team's 14 total hits, with sophomore Justin Maher going 3 for 3 with two RBIs and two runs scored and senior Jake Romanello hitting 2 for 4 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Other hits for Sayreville came from Jaiden Johnson Molina, Moe Hedderman, Thomas Schlaline, Jaydon Stio, Jack Zapoticzny, and Michael Robinson.

Sayreville War Memorial is now 4-4 this season and sits in third place in the White Division of the Greater Middlesex Conference. They will play their next game on Thursday, April 18, against Colonia.
