Log truck on fire closing roadway
A log truck is on fire on the Big Black bridge on Highway 27 at the county line. Just after 6 a.m. Warren County firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle fire. The first unit on scene reported it was a log truck and that the roadway would need to be closed.

Bond set for Bolton teen charged in shooting death of Brandon teen

SUMMARY: Bond set for 17-year-old Darius Jenkins, charged with murder in the shooting death of 17-year-old James Aaron Rieder, Jr. in Brandon, Mississippi. Jenkins appeared in Hinds County court and was given a $200,000 bond, a 6:00 p.m. curfew, and GPS monitoring for 70 days. A Flora man has been sentenced to life in prison in connection with a shooting death that occurred in January.
