A log truck is on fire on the Big Black bridge on Highway 27 at the county line. Just after 6 a.m. Warren County firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle fire. The first unit on scene reported it was a log truck and that the roadway would need to be closed.

A Flora man has been sentenced to life in prison in connection with a shooting death that occurred in January.
