‘Sing in the Streets’ music festival returning to Saratoga Springs

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Caffé Lena has announced the return of its “Sing in the Streets” music festival on May 19. The free festival takes place on six stages from noon to 4 p.m. around downtown Saratoga Springs.

This year, the “Sing in the Streets” festival is celebrating 64 years of Caffé Lena. The venue opened on May 21, 1960, and has been in continuous operation in the same spot on Phila Street ever since.

“More and more people are looking to Lena’s as a place to gather, make music, learn new skills, and enjoy a sense of community,” said Caffè Lena Executive Director Sarah Craig. “We’re serving young families, teens, retirees, and everyone in between. Sing In the Streets is one of the ways this work gets funded, thanks to our business sponsors and those who donate on the day of the festival.”

The festival takes place rain or shine with events moving indoors if bad weather strikes. Rain locations, if applicable, will be posted on the Caffé Lena website .
