Narcotics Suspect Arrested, Released After Warrant Served At Canyon Country Home

A Canyon Country man in possession of narcotics was arrested after detectives served a search warrant at his home in March.

In the early morning hours of March 27, narcotics detectives conducted a search warrant on a residence on the 18000 block of Oakmoor Street, in Canyon Country, said Deputy Robert Jensen, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station .

“A 48-year-old Hispanic male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance,” Jensen said.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and released on a citation to appear in court at a later date, according to Sheriff’s officials.
