The regular season came to close Thursday for the Texas Woman's softball team at Dianne Baker Field. In their final doubleheader of the regular season, the Pioneers (25-28, 23-19) split the day with St. Edward's (18-34, 16-26). TWU claimed the win in Game 1, 4-1, but fell in Game 2, 6-1.

Although Coppell was tied with Plano West for fourth place in District 6-6A with identical 6-6 records, the Cowboys own the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Wolves by virtue of two head-to-head wins.
