    Obituary – Joan Davidson

    Joan Davidson, of Sandston Virginia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

    Joan was the daughter of the late George Hawkins Sr. and Mary Woody Appel. She is survived by her devoted husband of 22 years, Kenneth I. Davidson; her children, Jeanine Botkin (Mark); Karen Fulmer (Walter); Steve Hall (Mary), and Kimberly Davidson; Nine grandchildren; Brooke Dickinson (Tommy), Brandi Palma (Nick), Sean Davidson (Brittany), Victoria Kennedy (Greg), Brittany Simonowich (Rusty), Breanna Rothwell (Isaac), Travis Mason (Zach), Stephen Hall Jr., and Alex Botkin; and 16 great-grandchildren.

    Joan independently and successfully raised two children, and she had a passion for art and elephants. Joan was a devoted member of Highland Springs Church Of Christ where she enjoyed the love and fellowship of the church members. She was always ready to go for a drive to seek out new adventures. Joan retired as a postmaster after 38 years of service.

    A Celebration Of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at Highland Springs Church Of Christ, 416 S. Kalmia Ave, Highland Springs VA 23075.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Highland Springs Church Of Christ.
