Oro Valley begins its budget deliberations
Oro Valley Town Manager Jeff Wilkins has submitted his first recommended budget for town council and public consideration. The 2024-25 spending proposal calls for General Fund spending of $53.1 million, down 4.1% from the current year. It was being reviewed by the Oro Valley Town Council at study sessions May 8 and 9. A public hearing and tentative budget adoption are planned for 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 5. A second public hearing and final budget adoption would take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 19. The 2024-25 fiscal year begins July 1.
