Police said the driver collided with a Toyota 4Runner driven by a 49-year-old man. During the crash, the Toyota’s seats collapsed backward and a passenger was impacted. That person stated that they had no feeling below the waist.

The passenger was transported to a local hospital to be treated for a fractured thoracic vertebrae. No further information on their condition was provided by authorities.

The Traffic Division responded and is handling the investigation. DUI was not a factor, police said. Anyone with information related to the crash is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
