Tim Duncan’s perfect answer to 'Start, Bench, Cut' of MJ, LeBron, Kobe

San Antonio Spurs legend Tim Duncan tends to avoid the spotlight, meaning his recent interview with Richard Jefferson produced some entertaining moments.

Duncan played with numerous Hall of Famers throughout his 19-year career, including David Robinson, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginóbili. Ranking these retired superstars is no easy task, but Richardson challenged Duncan to do so, asking him to play "Start, Bench, Cut" with the three.

Duncan got straight to the point, stating, "I'll start David, bench Manu, and cut the French boy."

Then, Duncan was asked who he would "start, bench, cut" out of Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant. Duncan refused to follow the rules, giving a perfect political answer.

"I will start all three of them and cut and bench myself," he said.

The four all-time greats earned the 2003 championship together, while Duncan won three others with Parker and Ginóbili (2005, 2007, and 2014) and one additional with Robinson (1999).

Robinson racked up the most All-Star selections of the group with 10, followed by Parker with six and Ginóbili at two.
