City opens Municipal Pool reservations, announces reopening date

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — The City of San Angelo has opened summer party reservations for its Municipal Pool and announced the venue’s official reopening date for 2024.

In a Facebook announcement made on April 15, the City stated that the pool will reopen for public use on Saturday, May 25.

In anticipation of the summer crowds, the City has opened summer party reservations for those who want to guarantee their spot at the pool for a given day. Those looking to place a reservation should visit cosatx.us/civicrec and navigate to the “Aquatics” tab.

The pool has multiple reservation options that come at different prices and offer varying locations, degrees of privacy and permitted numbers of people. These options are as follows:

• Blue Canopy
  • Semi-private party (pool remains open to the public)
  • $30 an hour plus $3 per person
  • Minimum duration of 2 hours
• Yellow Canopy
  • Semi-private party (pool remains open to the public)
  • $30 an hour plus $3 per person
  • Minimum duration of 2 hours
• Both Canopies (Yellow and Blue)
  • Semi-private party (pool remains open to the public)
  • $60 an hour plus $3 per person
  • Minimum duration of 2 hours
• Whole Pool
  • 1-100 people: $325
  • 101-200 people: $475
  • 201-300 people: $625
  • 301-400 people: $775
  • $100 deposit
  • All fees due when reservation is made
