Weekly Safety Report: Murder Charge and Assault Incident Raise Concerns in Saline County, Missouri
This week in Saline County, Missouri, two incidents occurred that are of concern for public safety. In the first incident, Tammy Hrabe, a woman from Slater, has been charged with first-degree accessory to murder, abandonment of a corpse, and tampering with physical evidence in the 2021 murder of Judith Young. Young's body was found in the Missouri River, and an autopsy revealed her death was not from natural causes. In the second incident, a Marshall man named Eric Gilmore has been charged with a felony after allegedly assaulting a victim during an argument while driving together. Gilmore reportedly squeezed the victim's throat and scratched her.
TWO INJURED IN SALINE COUNTY CRASH
Two Sedalia residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident in Saline County on Wednesday, November 29. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 46-year-old Michael Barnett traveled off the right side of the roadway, rotated, and traveled off the left side of the road before striking an embankment and coming to a rest.

Samuel W. Kooro, 61, of Olathe, Kansas, suffered minor injuries at 12:25 a.m. Friday in a Saline County accident. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Kooro was driving a 1996 Freightliner west on I-70 when he traveled off the left side of the roadway and his vehicle struck the cable barriers.
Saline County woman charged with murder now deemed fit to face her charges
A Saline County woman charged with murder who was previously ruled unfit to stand trial will now face her charges in a court of law. SALINE COUNTY, Mo. (KCTV) - At 6:45 in the evening Sunday a deadly crash in Saline County, Missouri. It happened on I-70 westbound at the 74.6 mile marker.
