Victim dies after arriving at hospital with gunshot wound
News Weather Watch Traffic Sports Contests Studio STL Jobs Connect. Earlier this morning, around 1 a.m. a victim sustained a gunshot wound near the intersection Olive Street and Cardinal Avenue. They later died. Police report that the victim arrived at an area hospital with the injury and was subsequently pronounced dead.

Major Case Squad activated to investigate ‘100 vehicle’ gathering, shooting in Bridgeton
BRIDGETON, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Multiple police agencies are investigating Saturday after a shooting in Bridgeton. According to Bridgeton Police, officers were called to the area of Corporate Woods Drive near Earth City Expressway around 9:35 p.m. Saturday, for reports of reckless driving from “around 100 vehicles.” When the officers arrived, shots were fired in their direction as several of the vehicles attempted to leave.

University buys former grocery store site in Lafayette Square for $4M
ST. LOUIS — A university with multiple campuses has purchased a former grocery store site near Lafayette Square for $4 million. A.T. Still University, a health sciences university and medical school based in Kirksville, purchased 1500 Lafayette Ave., the site of one of the locations of local chain Fields Foods, which shut down last year, in January, according to sales data from Reonomy. The seller was St. Louis Food Hub LLC, which is organized by Chris Goodson, the owner of Fields Foods.
