The St. Clair County Health Department has issued swimming advisories for Holland Beach in Port Huron and Keewahdin Beach in Fort Gratiot Township. The beaches have been closed due to the elevated presence of E. coli, officials said in a news release Thursday morning. Water samples will be collected at the beaches until E. coli test results are within the acceptable water quality range as advised by the state of Michigan.

(CBS DETROIT) - The Macomb County Sheriff's Office says 12 people were arrested Wednesday in connection with a human trafficking bust. Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said the investigation into the human trafficking ring began in February 2024.
