Bar brawl leaves one injured in Sumter: Employee, two others charged
SUMTER, S.C. (WACH) — Three men are charged with second degree assault and battery after allegedly attacking a person outside of a Sumter County Bar earlier this week. According to officials with Sumter County Sheriff's Office (SCSO), in the early morning hours of Monday, May 6, deputies received a report that a person had been attacked after leaving the Raven’s Nest Bar.
Sumter Police, family members search for missing man
SUMTER, S.C. — Family and officers in Sumter are searching for a man not seen since Sunday when he left a local hospital. According to the Sumter Police Department, 50-year-old Gilbert Hayes was discharged from Prisma Health Tuomey around 8 a.m. Police said Hayes suffers from several health conditions, and they are concerned for his safety.
