AHSAA golf: Homewood’s Jack Lowery, UMS-Wright’s Frances Brown lead state
Homewood High School freshman Jack Lowery fired an 8-under 64 Monday at the AHSAA State Golf Championships being held at Florence’s Shoals RTJ Golf Course to lead the boys’ overall competition. UMS-Wright senior Frances Brown completed the 18 holes with a 7-under 65 to top the girls’ first-day competition.
