    50 dogs and cats rescued in Ruidoso

    RUIDOSO, N.M. (KRQE) – Animal Humane sent out a team to save pets affected by fires near Ruidoso. The nonprofit shelter said they rescued more than 50 homeless dogs and cats from the Humane Society of Lincoln County in Ruidoso.

    The dog-focused team is headed to Albuquerque while the cats and kittens have arrived at Animal Humane’s Main Campus.
