Rossford’s downtown Stroll the Street event on Tuesday evenings begins next week and runs through Aug. 13.

Food trucks, live music, vendors, and children’s games will be available from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Traveling Chef will serve up healthy recipes with produce from Turk Farms, distributing samples and recipe cards.

The Rossford Convention & Visitors Bureau will debut a new mobile visitors’ center at 5:30 p.m. during the season kickoff. The 18-foot travel trailer will be parked in front of Edward Ford Park every Tuesday through Aug. 13 for Stroll the Street.

It will then be moved to the five Rossford hotels off State Rt. 795 for Celebrate on Clark, a weekly event to be held Wednesdays from June through August. The mobile visitor center will remain in place to provide visitor information to hotel guests throughout each weekend.

“It will allow us to store and transport visitor materials, provide an on-site space to meet with visitors, and allow us to administer services, such as first-aid or shelter from the sun when needed,” said Beth Genson, the visitors bureau’s executive director.

Classic car owners cruise over to Stroll the Street from 4 to 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month. The cruise-in will be at the Rossford United Methodist Church, 270 Dixie Hwy.

Stroll the Street parking is available in portions of the church parking lot and IPS Headquarters, 146 Dixie Hwy.
