MINNEAPOLIS — Police in Minneapolis say a vulnerable adult is missing after being discharged from a hospital earlier this week.According to police, 52-year-old William Lee Nabors was last seen at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Police say he suffers from memory loss. Nabors is 6 feet fall and weighs 160 pounds. He's known to frequent the area of Lowry and Penn avenues north, as well as Loring Park. Anyone who sees Nabors is asked to call 911.

EAGAN, Minn. — Court records say a man accused in the violent sexual assault of an Eagan woman has a history of being civilly committed for mental illness. A criminal complaint filed in Dakota County charges 25-year-old Ricardo Roberto Mahkwah Diaz with three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in the alleged attack, which occurred at a residence in Eagan Sept. 23.

EAGAN, Minn. — At least two metro police departments are resuming their school resource officer programs. Both the Eagan and White Bear police departments confirmed Thursday that they will be sending officers back to school. The Eagan PD works with School District 196, which serves 29,000 students from the cities of Rosemount, Apple Valley, Eagan, Burnsville, Coates, Empire, Lakeville, Inver Grove Heights and Vermillion Township.
Thompson could face aggravated sentence if convicted of killing five young women
(Minneapolis, MN) - Hennepin County is pursuing an aggravated sentence if Derrick Thompson is found guilty in the fatal crash that killed five young women in Minneapolis, due to evidence that he failed to help the victims after the crash, call for help, and has a prior conviction for a similar crime. Thompson is charged with 10 counts of criminal vehicular homicide, each carrying a 10-year sentence and even more time behind bars if found guilty of an aggravated sentence. Thompson's next scheduled court appearance is November 21st, no trial date has yet been set.
