Lomira football excited for opportunity against Edgar in sectional final
LOMIRA – Coming off a state title in 2024, the Lomira football team lost in Level 1 to St. Mary's Springs in 2025. It's already won its Level 1 and Level 2 games this season and isn't done yet. "We know last year we didn't make it this far, so this year we have a chance to keep going and I think this week is our time to show that," Lomira junior Cash Agamaite said. Edgar has made three straight state championships, winning Division 7 state titles in 2023 and 2024 and lost in the Division 6 state championship in 2025. Yet, Lomira is not shying away from all that Edgar has accomplished and is using any type of motivation it can to make sure "Lomira" pops up on the Division 6 bracket in the state semifinals.
