Request for a laser tag park misses target with Plan Commission
A plan for a future laser tag park located at 1233 West Fond du Lac St. was derailed by the Ripon Plan Commission last week Wednesday. Matt Rogatz, a real estate developer who lives part-time in Green Lake and owns property in Ripon, submitted a conditional use permit (CUP) application to open a laser tag facility on Ripon’s west side.
Green Lake School honors students, presents scholarships
Green Lake School honored the class of 2024 during its annual Senior Scholarship and Awards Night last week Wednesday. Area service groups, businesses and other community organizations provided $427,300 in scholarships to students as part of the celebration, while Green Lake School provided awards, many of which came with medallions, tassels or sashes to wear during graduation.

Woman accused of shoplifting arrested following police chase in Fond du Lac
FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WBAY) - A woman accused of being a habitual shoplifter was arrested after police said she led them on a vehicle chase Sunday. Police say they responded after 10:30 Sunday night to the Walmart on Rolling Meadows Drive. Police say she was leaving the parking lot, they tried to pull her over.
