Pa. men released from prison after lawyer claimed they were being held illegally
Two men who had been jailed for several weeks while their attorney said they were being held illegally have been released from prison. According to their lawyer, Ethan Wentworth, of Airville, and Rusty Herr, of Christiana, were released earlier this month from York and Lancaster County prisons, respectively, after being arrested on 30-day civil sentences.

Lancaster County borough reinstates library donation pulled over drag queen event
Mountville Borough on Monday reversed its decision to withhold funds from Lancaster Public Library, though it did impose a few caveats. In a 4-3 vote, Borough Council agreed to reinstate $13,000 to the library after the donation was pulled last month in response to a Drag Queen Story Hour at the library’s city location in March. Council Vice President Richard Spiegel in April said he wanted confirmation the library would be nonpartisan and would not schedule “controversial” events.
