HIGH SCHOOL TRACK: SN boys, RM girls win Big East meet

The Rocky Mount girls and Southern Nash boys were the winners in the team standings during a Big East 2A/3A Conference tri-meet which also involved Nash Central on Tuesday afternoon.

The Lady Gryphons edged Southern Nash 82.33-55.33 and Nash Central was third with 46.33 points.

On the boys side, the Firebirds won 77-62 over Rocky Mount while Nash Central placed third with 46 points.

The Northern Nash boys defeated Franklinton 110.5-75 while the Lady Knights tied with the Rams for first with 85 points during a Big East 2A/3A Conference track meet on Tuesday at Franklinton High School.
