Rockville motorcyclist ejected after hitting deer

ROSEDALE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Rockville man was flown to an Indianapolis hospital after he was ejected from his motorcycle when he hit a deer in Parke County.

According to Parke County Sheriff Jason Frazier, the rider, was not wearing a helmet. The crash occurred on Saturday at 2:09 p.m. on Coxville Road near County Road 700 S.

Sheriff Frazier said the rider suffered multiple injuries, including to the head, neck, and shoulders.

Initially the man was taken to Union Hospital Clinton before being flown by helicopter to a hospital in Indianapolis.

Sheriff Frazier said his current condition is unknown at this time.
