ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Michael Glass, 34, for allegedly attacking 3 women inside Don Carter Lanes.

On April 25th, around 6:27 p.m., police responded to a battery call at Don Carter Lanes in the 4000 block of East State Street. One of the three victims told officials they were in their car when a man approached their vehicle.

The suspect asked one of the women for her number and the woman responded that she was in a relationship, according to court records. The women then went into the bowling alley but were approached by Glass again, according to authorities.

The victims told police that he punched all of them multiple times and then left out the back door of Don Carter. One of the victims was transported to the hospital where she received stitches in her bottom lip.

Authorities found a man matching the description given by the women in front of Alpine Inn in the 4400 block of East State Street and took him into custody.

Glass claimed that he thought he knew the women but was mistaken, according to court documents. He also told officials that the three women started attacking him.

Glass was lodged into the Winnebago County Jail and is being charged with aggravated battery and great bodily harm as well as three counts of aggravated battery in a public place.
