While in treatment, the family learned they qualified to stay at the Ronald McDonald House, a welcome suggestion to the family as they had been living in a hotel.

Med City Marathon's new finish line is highlighting downtown Rochester
ROCHESTER, Minn. - Runners are getting ready and set for the 28th annual Med City Marathon this weekend. Organizers say they are expecting about 2,700 runners to participate. Its a Boston qualifying course- meaning its pulling runners not only here in Rochester but also Chicago and Minneapolis. The race itself has seen its fair share of tribulations from a global pandemic to extreme weather and this year, organizers are pleased to know that this weekend is forecasted to be perfect conditions for running.
J.E.T.S. Gymnastics to close in June
ROCHESTER, Minn. - In a letter to families, J.E.T.S. Gymnastics has announced they are suspending operations on June 1st. The letter says several factors have led to the decision. J.E.T.S. says they have seen lower student enrollment, increased hardships because of the economic climate, and a decrease in experienced coaching candidates. The gym feels their current facility is not up to their high standards for operation.
